myAir
ResMed myAir™ is an easy-to-use online support program and app designed to empower patients to stay engaged with therapy, which may help reduce callbacks and improve efficiency. Using interactive coaching and the ability to track and view nightly sleep data, myAir has been found to improve patient compliance from 70% to 87% among users also monitored in AirView™.1
Users of Air11™ therapy devices will have access to updated myAir features like Personal Therapy Assistant and Care Check-In, which guide patients through setup, check in on their progress and provide tailored support content to help them self-resolve common therapy challenges.*
Get patients connected
Your patients can quickly register for myAir with a streamlined process that allows them to activate their account before their setup appointment.
Patients can download the myAir app† in the App Store® or on Google Play™ or register online at myAir.ResMed.com.
Full-time support
myAir provides a seamless and efficient therapy self-management solution. Therapy data is automatically synced to the cloud shortly after patients wake up, helping provide timely feedback on their progress. Patients also have the opportunity to get answers to common questions and more efficiently receive the full-time support they need to stay adherent.
Users of Air11 therapy devices will also have access to updated myAir features,* such as:
- Personal Therapy Assistant, which offers voice-guided video instructions to help guide patients through equipment setup and experience how it feels to receive PAP therapy using the Test Drive acclimation tool
- Care Check-In, an easy-to-use coaching program that furthers therapy orientation after the initial setup, so patients feel heard, supported and empowered to self-resolve common therapy issues, right from the start‡
Therapy tracking at a glance
The first thing patients see each morning is their myAir score representing their sleep data from the previous day that makes tracking therapy progress simple and fun. Patients get points based on usage hours, mask seal, events per hour and mask-off events.
- A usage goal dashboard is also displayed after patients onboard to myAir to help encourage their therapy use and help them track progress.
- As patients achieve milestones they can earn badges to help motivate them to meet their usage goals.
Coaching and reinforcement
In addition to a nightly myAir score, patients also receive tailored coaching, reminders and education via email or push notifications.
- All patients receive educational messages designed to make therapy more comfortable and build confidence
- When specific criteria are met, messages of confirmation and support are sent to the patient to reinforce positive behavior
- Encouragement messages are sent when specific criteria are not met to help motivate patients
Trends and health metrics
As patients use their therapy over time, usage and health trends** will be displayed in the history tab to help patients stay motivated.
While therapy usage trends will be available for all patients in myAir, those who allow integration with Apple Health or Health Connect will will be able to view additional health data already tracked by connected smart devices.
Educational tools
myAir’s sleep library is a collection of how-to instructions, videos and other support materials to help your patients on their sleep apnea therapy journey. It also includes information that’s tailored to their device model and mask type/model.
Designed to support compliance
Patients using myAir are twice as likely to achieve 90-day, CMS-defined1 PAP therapy adherence than non-users, according to an international big data study, with more than 80% of them still engaged with PAP therapy after their first year.2 Another study found that the use of myAir in combination with AirView improved compliance by 17% compared to AirView monitoring alone.3
Cleaning and inspection reminders
myAir sends monthly cleaning and inspection reminders to help educate patients on the benefits of maintaining their therapy equipment, and to let them know just when and how they should do so. These reminders:
- Function like coaching messages, and are sent according to a set schedule
- Can be received via email and/or push notifications
- Can be turned on/off independently from other coaching messages
* Some features of myAir are only available in the myAir app and with Air11 devices.
