Warranty information for Australian consumers

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

 

Limited manufacturer’s warranty for Resmed Kontor Products sold in Australia

In addition to your rights and remedies under the Australian Consumer Law (and any other applicable law), Resmed Asia Pte. Ltd., 3 Tuas Avenue 2 639443 Singapore (Resmed) warrants that your Resmed product will be free from defects in material and workmanship from the date of purchase for the period specified below.

Resmed Kontor Head Strap 12 months

This limited warranty does not cover:

  • any damage caused as a result of improper use, abuse, modification or alteration of the product including failure to use the Product in accordance with the user manual/documentation including the Important Product Information Guide;
  • repairs carried out by any service organisation that has not been expressly authorised by Resmed to perform such repairs;
  • any damage or contamination due to cigarette, pipe, cigar or other smoke and any damage caused by exposure to ozone, activated oxygen or other gasses.

This Limited Warranty is void on product sold, or resold, outside the region of original purchase.

Limited Warranty claims on defective Products must be made by the initial consumer at the point of purchase or directly to Resmed as specified below.

This Limited Warranty is only available to the initial consumer. It is not transferable.

Resmed shall not be responsible for any incidental or consequential damages claimed to have resulted from the sale, installation or use of any Resmed product.

How to make a claim

To make a claim under this warranty for Resmed Kontor Products you should contact the retailer from which you purchased your Resmed product, or contact us at Kontor-support@Resmed.com or via phone on 1800 737 633 (AUS).  All claims under this warranty must be accompanied by your original receipt.

You will then need to deliver the Resmed product you claim is defective to the retailer from which you purchased your Resmed product, or deliver it Attention to Resmed Kontor Warranty Support at Resmed, 1 Elizabeth Macarthur Drive, Bella Vista NSW 2153, Australia.

If Resmed determines that your warranty claim is valid, we will return the repaired product, or a replacement product, to you at our expense.

If Resmed determines that your warranty claim is valid you may claim any reasonable expenses you have incurred in making the claim by contacting Resmed Kontor Warranty Support via phone on 1800 737 633 (AUS), email: Kontor-support@Resmed.com, attaching original receipts for the expenses claimed.

If Resmed determines that your warranty claim is not valid, we will return the product to you at your expense.
